Before You Go...

I finished my first driving lesson slumped over my steering wheel, soaked in perspiration – mentally, physically and emotionally wrecked. I left home unprepared, and returned overwhelmed.

Becoming a persuasive pitcher is a lot like becoming a good driver.

Reading the instruction manual or watching a video is one thing. Putting it into practice is something else.

So please use these resources knowing that they are here to help you prepare for your time in the driver’s seat. And that you still need to perform on the day.

They will help you understand what to do (and will immediately improve your content) but the job’s not done until you continuously and consistently put them into practice, and regularly seek and act on feedback.

We’re here to help with our training modules. But if that’s not an option, you’ll need to commit to rehearsing and debriefing with others in your workplace and seeking out their feedback. They will see things you don’t, and their input will improve your success.

Take these steps and the road to pitching success will open up beautifully for you.

Happy pitching!
